McCarthy Contracting Ltd has a strong commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace. We have a full health and safety programme are a Registered Contractor under Rural Contractors New Zealand (RCNZ). We are also Sitewise Gold accredited for 2022/23.
The main focus for us is that our staff work in a safe environment and that we manage our hazards appropriately. We also want to ensure that any contractors or visitors that may visit our sites are protected from any hazards that are present.
Our staff receive training in the identification and management of hazards and other emergency situations. We run training sessions when new equipment is purchased to ensure that staff know how to operate the equipment correctly and safely.
